AQRD OPENS ADDITIONAL HANGARS & EXPANDS ON WING AOG SUPPORT CAPABILITIES
Addison, TX -- Aerospace Quality Research and Development (“AQRD”) has opened two additional hangars in May 2022 for expanded on and off wing repair and AOG support capabilities at Addison Airport (KADS). The new hangars will add 40,000 square feet to existing space and improve AQRD's ability to provide quality service to customers quickly and efficiently to support AOG events. The new area will offer a fully dedicated hangar for on wing AOG structural composite repairs. This expansion will increase capacity for AQRD's growing FAA Part 145 operations and can handle structural, composite, and system repairs for corporate and military aircraft types.
CEO Raj Narayanan is looking forward to utilizing the new hangars and said, "We are always thinking of ways to support our customers better. When the new facility became available for purchase, we knew it would be a great opportunity, especially for additional on wing AOG needs". The hangars will also facilitate the expansion of AQRD's specialized composite processing equipment capabilities. Additionally, AQRD will be performing alterations, on and off wing repairs, and STC upgrades to military, commercial, and corporate aircraft within the new space. This new facility will allow AQRD to provide a higher level of service to customers with a continued focus on engineering-driven, quick turn repairs to get aircraft back into service safer and faster than ever. At AQRD the only solution is the aircraft in the air!
